Teddy Bear TLC Charity 100,000 Bears for Margate Hospital
The Teddy Bear TLC Charity East Kent Branch has now presented over 100,000 bears to the Children’s A&E Department at The Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate.
I was very pleased to be asked by Malcolm Harley from the East Kent branch of the Teddies for Loving Care charity to go along with them to the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate on Tuesday. The TLC Charity raises cash and provides a very effective method of supporting young children in severe distress who are in hospital A&E units, by simply providing the units with a supply of Teddy Bears to give to the children as a comfort to them. In the 12 years that the charity has been running they have now supplied 1,000,000 bears nationwide but I was to attend and record a special milestone for East Kent, when the charity presented it’s 100,000 bear locally at the QEQM. Here are some of the Photographs I took of the event
